Elena is an award-winning filmmaker with an architectural and cinematographic background. Graduated from Moscow Architectural Academy, Russia in 2006 (MBA), then achieved her MA at the High School For Scriptwriters and Film Directors (Moscow) in 2017.

Her short film "Next" premiered at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF), won the first prize at Diversity In Cannes Film Festival, received a special mention at the Russian National Film Festival Kinotavr, and was showcased at many other international film festivals.

Her love story, "Silence", won the top prize at the Walthamstow International Film Festival and was also the winner in the Silent genre for her romantic drama. "Silence" was shown at more than one hundred film festivals, including BAFTA and Oscar-qualified film festivals, and received more than thirty awards.

Elena is currently developing her first feature film set in Italy. With this script, Elena attended the Torino Film Lab. Apart from directing fiction films, Elena worked on several commercial projects for Philipp Morris, the Venini factory, and fashion designer Sergey Soroka.
